There are only few college which provides engineering in field of AI. But that is not a big problem.
Several online platform provides education in this field.
Udemy ,Coursera and other online platform provides education in the field of AI.


Some colleges in India which provides engineering with AI specialisation are:
IIIT Hyderabad
IISc Bangalore
IIT Bombay ( may be from this year)

I would definitely say you that AI is the thing of tomorrow if one is pursuing AI engineer he definitely has a good value in the near future.
The level of exposure AI is getting in the coming days, there would be a need of an AI Engineer in almost every segment of the market.
The package a fresher might expect would be more than 6 to 7 lakhs but one should be that skilled.
The IIT's, University Of Hyderabad, IISc Bangalore, ISI Kolkata are some of the colleges giving out the degree in the field.
