The full syllabus for the Navodaya Class 9 2026 entrance exam is based on the Class 8 NCERT syllabus . The test includes four subjects: Mathematics, General Science, English, and Hindi .

• Mathematics and General Science have the most questions . The topics in these subjects are from your Class 8 textbooks, covering things like algebra, mensuration, force, light, and microorganisms.

• English and Hindi sections have 15 questions each, focusing on grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary.

There is no negative marking , and the exam is for a total of 100 marks. To prepare, you should study your Class 8 books thoroughly and practice with previous year's question papers.
