On the basis of state rank list, it grants admission to 870 MBBS and 191 BDS seats in medical and dental colleges under 50% state quota seats and private universities.

The remaining 50% seats from government medical and dental colleges will be reserved for All India Quota seats which will be offered by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) based on the scores obtained in NEET 2021 . HP NEET merit list will be released for three rounds of counselling including the mop-up round. The merit list of HP MBBS/BDS 2021 will include name, All India Rank, roll number, father’s name, category, marks obtained, domicile and date of counselling. Candidates who will be included in HP MBBS 2021 merit list will be required to report at the counselling venue for allotment of seats.
