Hello, Aspirant. In order to excel at NEET UG and stand out, you need to have clear knowledge of each and every topics of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, there are few topics that surely need special attention.

In case of Biology, if you look at previous years' papers, the following (in no particular order) are important when it comes to the zoology section:

  1. Human Physiology (most important)

  2. Human Reproduction (second-most important)

  3. Human Health and Diseases

  4. Evolution

  5. Cockroach
  6. Animal Husbandry
  7. Animal Tissue

You must avoid neglecting the botany portions because the bulk of the syllabus contains topics related to botany. Hence, most of the questions come from Botany. But there are few topics that need special attention:

  • Cell Structure and Function - 5%
  • Structural Organization in Animals and Plants - 9%
  • Plant Physiology - 6%
  • Human Physiology - 20%
  • Reproduction - 9%
  • Genetics and Evolution - 18%
  • Biotechnology and Its Applications - 3%
  • Biology and Human Welfare - 4%
  • Ecology and environment - 12%
