Hello Student

EWS category was included in NEET in 2019,so it is a very new category so to predict about it, we have just only one year's results i.e, NEET 2019 results in which the cutoff was about 10-15 marks lower than that of the general, and it varies from state to state, like the state cutoffs of many states were around 570 in higher cutoffs for example in uttar pradesh and 530 in some other states and lowest was in Goa nearly around 470 for the general category. Same is going to be the case in NEET 2020 where the cutoffs will be nearly the same since paper was easy but to compensate this the students were not well prepared in 2020.

But the Real truth is that in U.P. last year the cutoff for gen category was 573 ,but for EWS Category it was 578 because so many students got EWS Certificates made for the few seats that the Competetion went so high.

And last year only few students knew about EWS but this year there is a possibility that many students will get their EWS certificates made that might increase the cutoff in ews more than the gen category in few states.

So, all the best for your career ,if you need any further information regarding counselling and any other particulars  i am always available.

You can read our cutoffs article for a better understanding of your position in the competition.
