The exam is based on a one-tier system.NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is an offline exam with a time duration of 3 hours. A total of 180 MCQs is asked in the NEET exam from Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology). Each question carries 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

In the NEET question paper pattern, each subject – Physics, Chemistry, Botany, & Zoology, will consist of two sections, i.e., Section A and Section B. Section A will consist of 35 questions, and Section B will have 15 questions. Out of those 15 questions within section B, candidates will have to attempt any 10 questions. Accordingly, the total number of questions (180) and the total number of marks (720) will remain the same.
