The procedure how management quota work in NEET PG There are different kind of counselling in NEET PG like Centralized counseling and state counselling.

Centralized counselling - This consists of all the 15% quota of seats in medical college and this counseling consists of all the central government ruled Government Medical College and all the Deemed university run Medical Colleges. All the students throughout India can Participate in this Counseling. Except students from Jammu & Kashmir.

State Counseling - All the states in India Conduct their separate counselling which includes all the Medical Colleges in the state (Government & Private) except deemed universities.

Different states have different rules for counseling

For example in Karnataka all the medical graduates are allowed to participate whoever is qualified in NEET examination. but the no. of seats provided to general merit candidate is very less in comparison to the students who have Karnataka domicile or students who have completed MBBS from Karnataka.

In Maharashtra only students who have completed MBBS in Maharashtra are allowed and the students who have domicile of Maharashtra and have taken seat in any other state through 15% all India counseling are only allowed. other Maharashtra domicile student who has joined MBBS outside Maharashtra through management quota are not allowed to participate in the counseling.
