All higher education institutions that receive government funding are required to set aside at least 5% of their total seats for students with benchmark disabilities, as well as to provide them an admissions age relaxation of at least five years.

NEET Guidelines for Physically Handicapped Candidates

Candidates with a locomotor handicap in the lower limb that ranges from 50% to 70% are eligible for this reservation. However, locomotor impairment of the lower limbs between 40% and 50% shall be taken into consideration if the seats under the 3% quota remain unfilled.
