NIOS means National Institute of open schooling is approved by the human resource and development of Government of India with a resolution that was published in the Indian Gazett on 20 September 1990. Certificates from NIOS is valid for admission in the fall of the colleges and Universities in India. It is also accepted by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University.
