The Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) are the two components of Telangana's 2025–2026 NMMS exam schedule.  There are 90 multiple-choice questions on each paper, and you have 90 minutes to finish them.  Students with disabilities receive more time, and there is no negative marking.  While the SAT assesses knowledge in science, social studies, and mathematics in accordance with the curriculum of Classes 7 and 8, the MAT assesses reasoning and problem-solving skills.
