Yes, you can do Diploma after 12th and then your graduation afterwards.

But according to me that will be a wastage of time. As 12th is equivalent to diploma. II advic you to rather take a drop and prepare for the respective degree you want to graduate from. Or if you feel that you will be able to crack the entrance exams in the first go then better go for a degree rather than diploma program.
