There are several courses one can take to become scientist. Scientist means someone who is an expert in his field, he or she who carries out scientific research work. You can become scientist in particle physics, quantum physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, pharmacy, engineering, etc. 

No matter what techanical field you choose to make as your carrer, if you are conducting research work in that field you are called as scientist.

No is no particular course available in any University around the world which offers degree as Scientist.

Now after 12 std you can do one of following.

1. Bachelor in science

You can take up B.Sc in physics, chemistry etc this are the fundamental subjects. 

After B. Sc you can continue your studies in M. Sc ( Master in science).

Now you can carry research work in your field of domain and pursue Phd.

2. Engineering.

Carrer in this field begins at B. Tech level. Then M. Tech and then finally you can carry out Phd in the field of your interest.

Many  Public sector in india hire graduate engineers as Assistant junior engineer/Junior Scientist like ISRO, BARC,HAl, IOCL etc.

3. Medicine 

First you can do MBBS then MD then Phd
