Based on this, securing a CSE seat in top NITs like NIT Trichy, Surathkal, or Warangal might be challenging in the general category, but you can still get CSE in some newer or mid-tier NITs and IIITs.

Here are some options to consider:

• NITs: You can explore NITs like NIT Nagpur, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Rourkela, and NIT Durgapur, where CSE might still be available in later rounds of counseling.
• IIITs: IIIT Lucknow, IIIT Vadodara, and IIIT Pune are good options where CSE could be available with your rank.
