First of all you had not mentioned the course name and College or University name where you wants to take admission , but if we talk about Information technology then in Btech course then seats are filled by through entrance exam and there are some of exam are held in India like JEE(Joint entrance exam ) ,SRM JEE,and many more but mostly seats are filled basis on entrance score of cut-off but it is also depends upon college where you wants to join and they are admission based on which criteria .But we are really sorry to say that we are unable to gave the accurate answer with you due to lack of information .
