The factors on which this depends:

1) Directly proportional to the nature of electrode

2) Directly proportional to the concentration of electrolyte.

3) Directly proportional to the distance between the two eletrodes.

4) Inversely proportional to the area of an eletrodes.

5) Internal resistance increases on decreasing temperature.
