The packages for each and every particular branches in NIT Rourkela will differ from one another.
For ;

• CSE : The average package will be approx 8 LPA in CSE/ IT Department, infact the package will also go beyond 35 LPA as well.
• Core branches  (Mech / EEE / ECE / Civil ) : The average package for all thes branches will be approx 4 -5 LPA , infact it will also reaches above 10 LPA as well.

So overall the packages in NIT Rourkela premises is top level only but the only thing which you need to do is to Maintain your CGPA above 7 and try to be well equipped in your academics as well extra curricular activities too.
