Therefore, if you chose to pursue Basic Mathematics in your tenth grade, the only restriction placed by the CBSE (or any other Board) on your 11th grade stream option is PCM. Only if you want to study mathematics at the senior secondary level does Standard Mathematics in 10th grade become necessary.

Since you have taken PCB, you can opt for any of these two options as per your own interest.
