Hello aspirant,

To get admission in the IT branch you generally need to pass 10 + 2 with equivalent with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum percentage of 45% for general candidates . You can get into IT branch by giving various entrance exam JEE being the most common . For JEE a percentile of 97-98 would be necessary. However if you're looking for state government colleges 85-95 percentiles will also do fine.
