pH scale is the scale for measuring the concentration of Hydrogen ion in a solution. p stands for 'potenz' in German which means power. pH is basically a number which indicates the acidic or basic nature of a solution. On the pH scale we can measure pH from 0 to 14. 0 is very acidic and 14 is very alkaline. Good Luck!
