Actually you have not mention your board. This marks distribution of of 12th level physics practical depends and vary on board to board.

Basically 12th physics based on electricity light and modern physics. So so you have to study circuit as well you as you can. About 40 to 50% marks of 23 marks can be allotted for circuits only.

see for practicals exams, there would be separate marks for viva voice, written paper of practicals and practical works. however it would be different according to education board wise. however students must secure the overall pass marks in practical to successfully pass the exam.  however even if you can not make the circuit or can not complete the lap work at the time of exam, you would get score according to your written paper and viva. however you may contact with the faculty of your institutions to get clarification of pass criteria.
