There are annual increments. Inflation adjusted dearness allowance is increased time to time. For some states governments health programmes, and for contract pharmacist salary could be as low as 15000 to 35000 range per month. In mid term future pay scale of pharmacists is expected to rise in government sector, on par with drug inspector.
