Selection Criteria and Process for PUMBA MBA Admission

Eligibility Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

• Entrance Exam: Scores from CMAT, CAT, or MAH CET are accepted.

Selection Process:

1. Entrance Exam Scores: Candidates must have valid scores from CMAT, CAT, or MAH CET.

2. Centralized Admission Process (CAP): PUMBA follows the DTE Maharashtra's CAP for MBA admissions.

3. Document Verification: Candidates' documents are verified during the CAP.

4. Final Merit List: Based on entrance exam scores and document verification, a final merit list is prepared.

5. Counseling: Candidates in the merit list are called for counseling and seat allotment.

CMAT Cutoff for PUMBA:

• Expected CMAT Cutoff for 2025: Around 95 percentile.

• Previous Year's CMAT Cutoff: 95 percentile.

Regarding 60 Percentile in CMAT:
A 60 percentile in CMAT is below the typical cutoff range for PUMBA. Admission with this percentile is unlikely. It's advisable to consider retaking the exam or exploring other institutions with lower cutoff requirements.
