CPT exam is the first level towards CA conducted by ICAI. The exams are to be held on 16th June 2019.
The CPT June session will be the last session of this exam. After this session CA Foundation will become the sole CA Entry level, qualifying exam. It basically means that CPT is going to be replaced with Foundation
CA foundation would be a partially subjective and partially objective test consisting of 400 marks with four subjects.
1. Principles and practices of accounting
2. Business Laws, Business Correspondence and Reporting
3. Business mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics
4. Business economics and business and commercial knowledge

The first two topics would be subjective and the latter two are objective with negative marking
