JEE (Advanced), or Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) is an examination conducted by the IITs to get admission in their flagship B.Tech programmes. Each year a new IIT conducts the exam and the exam is held in two shifts, Paper 1 and Paper 2, with each paper being of a duration of 3 hours.

The syllabus comprises of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of class XI and XII and contain quite tough questions. Along with IITs, many other colleges such as IISc, IISERs, and RGPIT also take admission from JEE (Advanced) scores.

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
