BITS is a very good and renowned college. It offers ME courses via the HD exam. As for mechanical engineering, the the scenario is very good.

The faculty is very experienced and is always helpful. The curriculum is designed keeping in mind the latest industrial requirements. Ample opportunities for internships are available.

As for placements, the scenario is very good and a lot of peple get PPOs from their internships. For ME Mechanical, 12 out of 13 students got placed and the average package was 8 lakh per annum. For ME Design, 6 out of 12 got placed and the average package was 6.5 lakh per annum,the rest have internships. For ME Manufacturing Systems, 4 out of 11 got placed and others have internships, the average package was 7-7.5 lakhs per annum.
