The application form for this exam would be released in December. The eligibility criteria is as follows :

• Your minimum should not be less than 18 years as on 1st August 2023.
• Your maximum age should not be more than 27 years as on 1st August 2023.
• Reservation categories would be given some relaxation.
• For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): You must have passed your class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.
• For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): You should have passed your 12th standard with Science and Mathematics as a mandatory subject from a recognized board or equivalent.

As for your query you can apply for the exam but If the result of X+II is declared before 1st August, you can appear in the SSC CHSL Examination of that year. An example will make it clear.

• For SSC CHSL Examination, 2019, those students who successfully clear X+II from any recognized Board before 1st August 2019, can appear.

• Education Qualification - Passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University

• Name of the post -Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’ in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India
• Education Qualification -Passed 12th standard pass in science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent qualification

Since NIOS is a recognized board, therefore you're eligible provided you fulfill other eligibility criteria.
