As the syllabus is vast and even some electrical engineering topics are also included in the exam, it requires you to have a basic understanding of all the topics of the syllabus.

The best way to prepare for this exam is to:

  1. Study the concepts from textbooks.
  2. Practice previous question papers.

However there are certain books like -

  • Mechanical engineering concepts and objectives by R.S.Kurmi
  • Mechanical engineering for Competition by R.K.Jain

It will help you to cover all the topics from basic.
