There are UG and PG DESIGN courses available which you can easily apply as  per the eligibility criteria.


Industrial designing  can be interchangeably used with product designing also . It depends specifically on what kind of job you want to prefer. All product designers can be industrial designers but all industrial designers can't be product designer. Hope it clears your view on the scope you will be considering.


Now let's come to the scope of design particularly in India .

# Industrial design can be considered as the most important field in  its category. As more and more industries are expanding in India, need for quality trained design engineers is rising.
- There is a plus point of a industrial designer is that during layoffs in the sector , there position is relatively at much lower risks than the other occupation since the industrial designers are required to optimize the current position of the company to prevail  in the market for increasing the profit.

# product design is  employed at every place where the products are being made. So , learning softwares is not a big deal but to be expert in using them and to have very high potential and creativity which results in the mutual benefit of the consumer and producer is the basic pre-requisite. There is a good scope with high job opportunities.

#automobile design industry is at the current state emerging highly in India with more than 1million cars sold last year and growth rate of more than  12%  pa.
All over its a promising career with Plenty of jobs opportunity .
- India has relatively lesser number of R&D centres for automotive companies. Only few companies like Ashok leyland, TVS etc. have their own R&D facility in India. Therefore its considered to go abroad if you are ready for automobile designing at very advance level. Otherwise ,no doubt if you are good enough your skills are highly required in the emerging automotive sectors in India and you can make a good living standards.

NOTE- Don't just simply go into the field according to the scope . Prioritize your interests as you can be more efficient in it.
