Hi Nishitha, I'm also waiting for TANCET 2018 Counselling, so I could furnish you the details that I've collected so far. To my knowledge, Chennai Anna Univ, Coimbatore PSGIM, Madurai Thiagraja institute of Management are the top institutes for doing an MBA in TamilNadu. You can't rank these 3 colleges blindly bcoz each one is best in its own way. If you consider fee structure, Chennai Anna Univ collects the least( around 2 lakhs), Fees for entire 2 yrs in Thiagaraja comes nearly 9 to 10 lakhs, Fees for PSGIM comes around 6 to 7 lakhs. Hostel facilities are best in PSGIM. PSGIM and TSM both offer international educational trip. Quality of education is same in these 3 colleges as far my knowledge. Being private institutions, PSGIM and TSM gives more industrial exposure. If you consider Placement records, highest salary offered in Chennai Anna Univ is 16 lpa (I'm not sure whether it's for the batch of 2017 or 2016.. therefore, it's likely to be increased this year), PSGIM has a record of 11 lpa as the highest salary, Highest salary package in TSM is 14 lpa last year.
