General Merit Rank denotes standing among the Combined list of MS and OMS candidates while MS Merit tells your standing among Maharshtra State candidates. It will be very tough to tell which college you are going to get, but you can be stay assured that being a MS cadidates you have better chances than OMS candidates as 85% seats are reserved in Govt. and Govt. aided institutes.
