If you have 80 percentile in MHT CET, you can get admission in some good engineering colleges in Maharashtra for branches like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML), or Cybersecurity.

At 80 percentile, your CET rank will be around 19,000 to 32,000. With this rank, you may not get the top government colleges, but you can get admission in private or semi-government colleges.

You can try GH Raisoni College of Engineering in Nagpur, where AI & DS or AI & ML branches close around 80–82 percentile.

St. John College of Engineering (Palghar) and Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering (Navi Mumbai) also offer branches in AI or Cybersecurity and sometimes have closing percentiles near 80 in later rounds.
Xavier Institute of Engineering in Mumbai offers Cybersecurity and AI/ML specializations. It sometimes takes students with 80 percentile or above, especially in later rounds.

Your chances will be better in later CAP rounds (2nd, 3rd or spot rounds), and if you are from the home state or have category reservations.

At the score of 80% in MHT CET, you can get branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical etc. but for AI or Data Science you will need more score.

However, you can still try in colleges like VIIT and JSPM Narhe Technical Campus.
