Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course Practical marks are also considered under the 50% aggregate means you have to compulsorily pass in theory as well as practical and along with it you should have minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology if you belongs to General category, 40% for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PwD certificate holders. Also note that in your curriculum English subject should also be there.

Apart from the percentage criteria also there is age criteria but that is only for minimum age limit like if you want to appear for NEET 2021 then you must have completed 17 years on or by December 31st 2021.and there is no upper age limit for NEET till now.

If all above eligibility criteria are fulfilled by you then you can appear for NEET UG 2021.

Yes, the marks scored in practical examination are also taken into consideration to calculate the percentage of marks to determine the eligibility criteria. Have a look at the NEET UG Education Eligibility criteria

  • A candidate must have passed 10+2 with Biology/Bio-Technology, Physics, Chemistry and English from a recognized board.
  • The subjects that are taken in to consideration to determine the eligibility criteria are: Biology, Physics and Chemistry. If you belong to general category  you must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in Biology/Bio-Technology, Physics and Chemistry taken together including the marks scored in theory and practical examinations. For PWD category candidates it is minimum 45% aggregate marks and for SC/ST/OBC candidates it is minimum 40% aggregate marks.

Neet eligibility - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 in physics chemistry and biology with minimum 50 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board.


The final result declared by your board after combining both the marks of practical and theory examination.
