The practical marks are not given much importance by students when it comes to Boards examinations, but they carry an important weightage in determining the overall grade scored in each subject and also in the Grand Total.

Maths and English are subjects apart from Science which also have practical marks alloted. Maths practical are referred as Maths Lab in simple words and it comprises of practicals carried out in the math lab. English practicals are Speaking and Listening Skills where the students do their conversation under a voice recorder, and do their Practicals.
