In North Eastern region,I would suggest you that you should stick with older NITs i.e NIT SILCHA and ,NIT AGARTALA.Both have large campus,active placement cell,better placement record,sports club etc.In newer NITs like NIT SIKKIM, MEGHALAYA, ARUNACHAL PRADESH etc these are new NITs have certain issue that every institute face during starting..In placement, campus set up require time for proper functioning..
