Yes it is better to prepare in 4th year

It depends on your capability & potential that you can manage the time for both of the courses. Otherwise you should start your preparation in the final year of Engineering. With this time you can do better for your preparation.

According to me you should start your preparation in final year because if you are not able to understand any topic than you can take help from your Faculties and now days time is very curicial so you need to go with the time .
