Hello,

The NMMS (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship) Exam for Class 8 is for students studying in government, government-aided, or local body schools with a family income of up to Rs. 3,50,000 per year.

Students should have scored at least 55% in Class 7 (50% for SC/ST). The exam has two parts: the Mental Ability Test (MAT) of 90 marks, which tests logical reasoning, patterns, and analogies, and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of 90 marks, covering Mathematics, Science, and Social Science based on Class 7 and 8 NCERT syllabus. The scholarship provides Rs. 12,000 per year for three years.

To prepare, students should study NCERT books, practice reasoning questions, solve previous year papers, manage time effectively, and revise regularly. Applications are submitted online through the National Scholarship Portal with necessary documents like income and domicile certificates.

Hope it helps !
