preparing for jee mains with btech 1st sem is advantageous or not ?

No it may lead you to face many difficulties as btech syllabus whether anybranch is so engaging, you wouldn't get time to study for jeemain, better take a drop and focus on one thing rather than two

In order to get into any engineering college, you need to submit your original Mark sheets and  consider that you've undergone jee coaching and also got good rank. Then you need to pay 4 year college fee to the management for the certificates.

I'll suggest don't go for that. Take a year drop work very hard for JEE Mains and Advanced and then take admission. You'll find it difficult to handle pressure of both 1st year and JEE. You may miss many college activities. Your college grades might get affected which will affect your future. Moreover you will regret not giving it another shot.
All these are my personal experiences. Hope it helps.!

Both way it depends on how u can handle pressure and don't think syllabus is same
