The AICTE-approved G.Pulla Reddy Engineering College is a member of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA). At both the UG and PG levels, the college provides several engineering specialties. In 2020, NIRF placed the college at position 190 among engineering colleges. The college offers admission through counselling based on the student's performance in the EAMCET entrance test at the undergraduate level and the student's performance in the GATE or PGECET exam at the graduate level. The college offers placement-related training. At the campus recruiting drive in 2019, 559 students were successfully placed at various businesses.

ADMISSIONS - Admissions to undergraduate and graduate programmes are sought through online counselling based on a candidate's rank.
