For becoming gynecologist, you have to get admission for MBBS. Either qualify neet exam and getting to any Government medical College or you can study MBBS privately or abroad. After completing your 5 years, do specialisation in gynaecology and obstetrics. It is 3 years. Hence you will be a post graduate, that is MD.

After this you can start work in hospitals or in your own clinic. MD in gynecology is mandatory for being a gynecologist. It is one of the highest paying career which will never decline. You can either do a PG diploma which is for 2 years or masters in gynecology and obstetrics. All the best.
