Hello Darpan, EWS concession is offered to students from weaker economic backgrounds pursuing courses in any Govt or state government institute.

For instance in IITs, the fee is completely waived for EWC students. However this does not hold for many private institutes, who on the other hand ma have their own schemes for awarding meritorious or EWC students through scholarship schemes.
