To get into RMS Class 9, you need to pass a competitive entrance exam. Your eligibility depends on your age (13-15 years old by March 31, 2026, born between April 1, 2011, and March 31, 2013) and having passed Class 8 from a recognized school.

Both boys and girls can apply. The exam has two papers, each worth 100 marks. Paper 1 tests English, Hindi, and Social Science, while Paper 2 covers Maths and Science, with a minimum score of 50% required in each paper.

For preparation, numerous coaching institutes like Panzer Defence Academy, Shaurya Bharat, and Sukhoi Academy offer specialized programs, both online and offline.

You can also find study guides and practice sets from publishers like Arihant, Ramesh, and Oswaal. Focus on understanding the syllabus, creating a study plan, practicing with mock tests and previous year papers, and working on physical fitness.
