NITs are prime institutes of India. Mechanical is great stream to opt in NIT Karnataka. But RV College of Engineering is also good. The highest placement in NIT Karnataka till date is Rs.15 LPA and average placement is Rs.5-7 LPA. The highest placement in RV College of Engineering till date is Rs.14-20 LPA and average placement is Rs.3-5 LPA.
