Computer science is the most well paid branch of engineering degree. The students may get a package around 2 crore at the very beginning , if you have studied from IITs. In NITs and IIITs the topmost salary may get around 1 crore as well.
The average package will lie around 20 lakhs in these top institute of India for CS department.
Even in private colleges and universities under state government the pay package is satisfactory.
