Hi Pritam,

The salary you will get depends upon the college from where you are studying and also upon you as the college only calls the company for placement but then whether you grab the package or not depends upon you.

If you complete your study from any NIT or IIT then their average package is around 7 lpa. If you completes study from top private university then also you will get the same package.But if you do study from any private university then you will end up getting package from 3.5-6.5 lpa.

Hi dear,

There is no fixed salary of software engineer. This totally depends on your credibility. If you get good college and you have done well in programming then you may get package of crores. If you are average then you may get 15+lpa. You may also get 3-4 lpa if you are not good enough. So this totally depends on you.
