Sainik School Class 6th admission is done through the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) conducted by NTA .

• The exam is held once a year in offline (OMR-based) mode .

• Students of 10 to 12 years age (as on 31 March of the admission year) can apply.

• The exam has 125 questions for 300 marks .

• Subjects include Mathematics, Intelligence, Language, and General Knowledge .

• The paper is available in 13 languages .

• Based on the exam, medical test, and document verification, admissions are given.
