In order to get into this college, you will have to clear Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics West Bengal ( JEXPO ) .
The online applications were released for JEXPO 2019 on January 29 and now the last date has been extended to April 18. This exam will comprise of 2 papers of two hours each,
Paper 1- Mathematics
Paper 2- Physics and Chemistry

This examination will be conducted on 30 May, 2019.

There are only 3 eligibility criteria to this examination:
1. You should be an Indian National.
2. You should have passed class 10 exam from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent exam, with an aggregate percentage of 35% in English, Physical science/Science, Mathematics etc.
3. You must not be born earlier than July 2, 2004.

SRIST offers 5 courses across 1 streams namely Engineering and across 1 degrees like Diploma.
Hostel facility is not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as Boys Hostel, Canteen, Computer Lab, Fest, Mess, Library, Medical Facilities. Room are also there.

The fee structure for the same ranges from 27000 to 37,500 per semester depending upon the course you choose.

Shree Ram Krishna institute of science and technology offers Diploma courses ( 3 years duration) in civil engineering, computer science and technology, architecture, Electrical engineering, Electronics and communication engineering and mechanical engineering.
The eligibility criteria: 10 or 10+2 passed from a recognised board with minimum 45%. The admission is done through JEXPO and management quota.They have a separate branch which offers BTech courses.
The fees for diploma courses is around 25k/semester.
