Biomedical Engineering (BME) is a research oriented branch and hence no opportunity is available as job in India. I am a Biomedical Engineer and many of my juniors, and classmates who qualified B.Tech in BME, they all are doing the similar jobs. Working as SALES EXECUTIVE or SERVICE ENGINEER for some Biomedical Instrument providing company they are giving service for the devices and demo to the new products launched.

Mechatronics is one of the best branches if one wants to be in an Robotics/ Electronics/ Automation Company / Manufacturing Automation field.
