If you score 340 in NEET UG 2024 and belong to the EWS category, it is very unlikely that you will get a government MBBS seat under the All India Quota. The cutoff for EWS in government colleges is usually much higher, around 695–710 marks.

With 340 marks, you may have a chance through the state quota, especially in Maharashtra, or in some private medical colleges which have lower cutoffs. You can also consider alternative courses like BDS, BAMS, BHMS, or nursing, which have lower cutoffs and good career opportunities.
