The selection procedure of technical entry scheme of Navy is as follows
1.the candidate has to be citizen of India or subject to friendly countries
2.after fulfilling the eligibility criteria ,one has to apply for the scheme in the official site of indian navy
3. After making it to the cutoff the candidate receives a call up letter , the call up letter for service selection board
4. On getting selected in services selection board , the candidate has to go through medical test , and if fit , making sure his selection
5.making to the merit list results in call up letter for the academy

For Army Technical Entry Scheme candidates are being selected through the interview process. Applied candidates are called for the interview as per the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in 12th standard.

Army Technical Entry Scheme interview process is being conducted by the Army Staff Selection Board (SSB). The interview process carries on for five days during which candidates appear for the Psychological Test, Group Test and Interview.

All such candidates who are declared successful in five days interview round are called for the medical test. A final merit list is being created for the candidates who qualify medical tests in accordance with the number of vacancies. These selected candidates are being sent to three technical institutions, i.e. College of Military Engineering (CME), Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) for training.
