No you do not need to upload the EWS certificate at the time of registration into jee mains however you need the certificate if you register for Jee Advance and during the time of counselling you might be asked to submit the certificate for document verification and you'll be diqualified if you failed to provide one.

I hav got 80 percentile in my April jee exam .. But I cutoff for general catagory is 89 percentile but for general ews it's 78 percentile .. I have certificate of ews . But I have not submitted the certificate during the registration of jee.... So can I appear for advance... Won't it be a problem ? Please reply
